This book examines the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) Service Centers of Istanbul. It consists of two detailed reports giving a first hand survey of this association which has educated several generations of young Turkish women in depth. One of the reports cover the period 1911-1924 and the other one, the period of November 1929-1930.
