This book consists of three oral history transcripts that were realized in the 1980’s by the Hebrew University’s Oral History Division. Two of the interviewees were Jews from Turkey and the third one was Akiva Lewinsky who during World War II was in Istanbul arranging the immigration of Turkey’s Jews. This work will be a valuable addendum to the history of Turkish Jews and their immigration to Israel.
